Archistone was founded in 1992, operating out a single quarry site in rural Gin Gin, Western Australia. The company created the reconstituted limestone block and developed its' consistancy and colour fast resiliance to become a premium quality product. Although meeting resistance from natural cut limestone in its early days, reconstituted limestone now dominates the limestone block industry with its flexibility in design and added strength. Today Archistone operates two manufacturing plants as well as quarrying. Archistone markets its' goods in four retail outlets in metropolitan Perth, Western Australia and wholesales to over 70 outlets throughout regional Western Australia, as well as South Australia, New South Wales and Victoria.
