Your initial consultation will usually be approximately 45 minutes, with your chiropractor going through a detailed history and physical examination in order to determine the areas of your body where treatment will be focussed. Depending on your specific case, a referral for x-rays may also be arranged, in order to gain a better understanding of what is going on in your body, and to optimise your treatment plan. After completing a full assessment, your chiropractor will discuss the findings of your physical exam and with your consent, commence treatment.
